Mnkskas Tehadso

MedhanieAlem Tehadso prayer group is a Catholic spiritual community within the Medhaniealem Eritrean Geez Catholic Community inside Holy Spirit Church, inspired by Pentecost and the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement. Rooted in the Holy Spirit, the group is dedicated to deepening faith, holiness, and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, Scripture, fellowship, and the sacramental life of the Geez Rite Catholic tradition. The name *Tehadso*, meaning “renewal,” reflects the group’s mission to encourage continual spiritual renewal and transformation through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Through Spirit-filled gatherings, intercessory prayer, outreach, and mutual support, members strive to live as faithful witnesses of Christ’s love within their families, church, and wider community. Committed to preserving Eritrean Geez Catholic spiritual heritage, the group promotes evangelization, unity, compassion, humility, and service. By embracing the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the community seeks to uplift the weak, strengthen faith, inspire hope, and grow together as one body in Christ.
